    Course Description:

    PMP® EXAM PREP CAMP is a preparatory course for the PMP® Exam based on the PMBOK® Guide Fifth Edition. Aligned with the PMBOK® Guide approach to project management, our PMP® EXAM PREP CAMP training system includes:

    • A study of each chapter 1 – 13 of the PMBOK® Guide Fourth Edition. Each chapter study ends with a short quiz.
    • A lesson on Professional Responsibility
    • Calculation exercises within several topics including Network Diagrams, WBS, Earned Value, Project selection methods, Contract Types.
    • Study Aids for the PMP® Exam which include PMP® Flashcards (a set of audio flashcards) and PMP® Manual Flashcards (a quick reference card deck).
    • Online mentorship – mentorship is included with this product at no additional cost. Simply contact your mentor via e-mail with questions or join one of our monthly scheduled mentorship sessions online.
    • Our PMP® Exam Prep Test – 200 practice test questions to help in preparation for the PMP® Exam. This practice test at the end of the course is graded. Passing grade is 70% or above. Participants can re-take the practice test as many times as needed within the online access period. Test results include answer rationale and reference information.
    • Contact Hours/Professional Development Units (PDUs) – PMP® EXAM PREP CAMP is a registered course with the Project Management Institute (PMI®) and is eligible for 35 contact hours/professional development units (PDUs). Participants studying for the PMP® exam can claim the 35 contact hours earned to satisfy PMI’s eligibility requirements for the PMP® exam. Project managers seeking to maintain their PMP certification can claim the 35 PDUs earned to satisfy PMI’s Continuing Certification Requirements.
    • Certificate of Completion – A certificate of completion is issued to participants upon completion of the course with a passing grade of 70% or above on the practice test.

    Our classroom course is a great delivery method for participants who prefer the “get it done in a week” approach with lots of motivation and encouragement from a live instructor over a five day period. All questions answered in person with practical real-world examples.

    Learning Objectives:

    Our project management training is designed to help participants prepare for the Project Management Professional (PMP®) exam or simply serve as a refresher for project managers out of touch with changes to the PMBOK® Guide who seek to maintain their PMP certification.

    In our project management training system, participants will learn:

    • What the PMP® credential is and how the PMP® credential can help.
    • Qualification and eligibility requirements for the PMP® exam.
    • Professional responsibilities of the PMP® certified project manager.
    • Project management methodology advocated by the Project Management Institute (PMI®) in the PMBOK® Guide.

    Upon completion of our PMP® EXAM PREP CAMP training course, participants will be able to: 

    • Accurately define and differentiate a project, project management plan, process groups, knowledge areas, inputs, outputs, tools, techniques and other key project management terminology.
    • Create essential project management plan documents (e.g. Work Breakdown Structure, Statement of Work and Scope Statement).
    • Demonstrate practical knowledge of important project management techniques (e.g. Earned Value Management, Critical Path Method, Schedule Compression and Network Diagramming Methods).
    • Effectively manage a project and implement newly learned project management skills, concepts and methodology in current work processes to achieve better project results.
    • Gauge understanding and preparedness for the PMP® exam.

    Students are advised to obtain a copy of the PMBOK Guide which is the study guide referenced throughout this course.

    Product Delivery:

    Our face-to-face classroom training can be conducted at our facility or at client’s site for a minimum class size of 5 participants. The duration of this course is customizable 2-5 days with additional online prep-work via our LMS. Participants are advised to suspend all phone meetings and work activities for the duration of the course. Activities begin at 8.00AM to 5.00PM with a break at mid-day. Light refreshments are served through the day.

    Course FormatThe format of this course is instructor led classroom training with all the attendees in person. Handouts and class materials will be delivered to attendees on or before the first day of study. If you desire that the training be conducted in your facilities, the following formats may be presented during the course by overhead projector on a screen for all attendees to view simultaneously:

    1. Refund Policy: Due to the nature of our small group training course schedules, we cannot guarantee a refund. A participant who is unable to attend the class may substitute another person 24 hours prior to the start of the class. Where applicable, approval from participant’s manager is required.Refunds are offered based on the following:All cancellation or reschedule requests should be submitted in writing to customer service at support@praizion.comWithin 24 hours: For cancellation request received within 24 hours of initial registration, a full refund will be granted less a $150 processing fee per participant.Less than 24 hours: Refunds will not be granted for cancellation request received less than 24 hours before the course start time. Failure to attend the course without prior notification will be considered a “no show” and the full course price will be forfeited.1 to 14 Days: Cancellation request received within 1-14 days prior to the course start time is subject to a penalty of 50% of the total course fee.Over 14 Days: Cancellation request received more than 14 days prior to the course start time is subject to a penalty of 25% of the total course fee.Reschedule: Reschedule requests will be honored for classroom training.     2. Online subscription to PMP® EXAM PREP CAMP commences within 24 hours of receipt of username, password and other registration details.
    3. Participants and users may not share an online learning account, username, password or practice test for any reason whatsoever. Sharing of any of this information is strictly forbidden. Should multiple users be detected on an account, the account will be terminated immediately without refund.
    4. Participants and users may not lease their account to others or use their account for sub-learning and instruction of others. This is strictly forbidden. Should sub-learning be detected on an account, the account will be terminated immediately without refund.
    5. Participants and users should ensure computer system compatibility with course of study. Before registering, participants and users should ensure the sample tutorials can be viewed on their computer system as no refunds will be given.
    6. Participants and users must take the practice PMP® Exam Prep Test themselves. This practice test is expected to be a closed book test. Violation of any of these terms also amounts to a violation of the code of ethics as a prospective PMP® candidate.
